The Central Florida Vein & Vascular Center was founded back in 2001 by Dr. John D. Horowitz. A wildly successful and highly skilled vascular surgeon, Dr. Horowitz has dedicated his life and the focus of his practice to becoming one of the pioneers in minimally invasive vein therapy.

Dr. Horowitz, the founder of the Central Florida Vein & Vascular Center, is fellowship-trained and has 25 years of professional experience. He has been practicing vascular surgery in Orlando since 1993. He is only one of a few hundred venous physicians in the country who are Diplomates of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM). The ABVLM requires rigorous testing, certification, and expert knowledge from their diplomats—which separates these specialists from those who are not as knowledgeable in vein care.

Dr. Horowitz is highly recognized by his patients for his quality treatment. He’s voted one of the best vascular surgeons in Orlando by the readers of the Orlando Family Magazine. As one of the first doctors in Central Florida to use minimally invasive vein techniques, he’s prioritized patient comfort during treatment.
