Dr. Rafael Quinones is originally from Puerto Rico and he is a graduate from the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Quinones earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Sevilla, Spain.  After Medical School he returned to Puerto Rico to complete a Surgical residency at the University Hospital of Ponce.  He became an Associate Professor of Surgery at two Medical Schools and Surgical Residencies.  The Mid-Michigan Physician Group recruited him where he became the Director of Surgery and Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Central Michigan University.   He and his wife Pamela have four daughters, 2 grandchildren and expect more in the future.  Dr. Quinones enjoys golf, fine dining, and travel with his wife. 

Dr. Quinones has over 30 years’ experience treating patients with venous disease through minimally invasive vein therapies including Endovenous Laser Therapy, Radiofrequency Vein Ablation, and Venaseal therapy.

Dr. Quinones is Board Certified in General Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons & lifetime member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society.
