Dr. John D. Horowitz was born in New Jersey and received his BA degree Cum Laude from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. He attended the Temple University School of Medicine in Pennsylvania where he graduated in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He stayed on at Temple to complete residency training in Surgery. From there, Dr. Horowitz went to the Ohio State University Hospitals for Fellowship training in Peripheral Vascular Surgery. Dr. Horowitz is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and has received academic acclaim with numerous publications and teaching faculty appointments. Dr. Horowitz has been practicing Vascular Surgery in Orlando since 1993 and focuses his practice on minimally invasive vein therapies. Dr. Horowitz is active in many societies, including the Southern Vascular Society, the Florida Vascular Society and the American College of Phlebology.
