APRN

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Shaihanne migrated to the United States where she completed high school in Orlando, Florida. Driven by a deep-rooted passion for medicine, she earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Central Florida in 2016 and later completed her BSN through the accelerated nursing program at Seminole State College and University of Central Florida. She began her nursing career in a cardiovascular progressive care unit, where she cared for acutely ill cardiac patients in the role of nurse leader. Her later clinical experience spans travel nursing, outpatient orthopedic trauma and outpatient surgery.

In 2023, Shaihanne decided to further her education earning her Master of Science in Nursing in Adult Gerontology from Wilkes University. Her goal is to provide thoughtful, high-quality care that supports and empowers our patients as they manage their vascular health. Prior to joining the Central Florida Vein and Vascular Center, Shaihanne concentrated on the evaluation and management of patients with venous and lymphatic disorders, including minimally invasive vein therapies.

She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of both the American Nurses Association and Florida Nurses Association.  The Central Florida Vein and Vascular Center is proud to welcome a Nurse Practitioner of Shaihanne’s caliber to the team.
