Meanwhile, ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy uses an ultrasound to locate the vein and then uses a needle to insert a foam solution into the vein. This solution causes a chemical reaction that dissolves the vein, effectively removing it without scarring.
- While spider veins usually aren’t a health concern, treatment options are still available to reduce their visibility. For these patients, we offer spider vein sclerotherapy and veinlite sclerotherapy. Spider vein sclerotherapy involves injecting a sclerosing agent into the veins.
