Adam Matheson was raised in the Midwest and comes to The Central Florida Vein and Vascular Center with extensive experience as a nurse practitioner performing ultrasound guided interventions that are the foundation of minimally invasive vein therapy. Adam’s nursing career includes a high level of care in both the operating room and the ICU. His nursing career includes high level academic experience at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Adam found that he was driven to become an independent practitioner because of his love for patient care and the reward of possessing high level procedural skills. He received his Nurse Practitioner education at St. Louis University. Adam has served our country well as a Paratrooper in the United States Army and was deployed twice in Iraq and once in Afghanistan as a team leader of the United States elite global response force. He was repeatedly appointed to high level leadership positions. Adam is married to his wife Emily and has two boys, Jack and Ben. His hobbies include golf, hiking, fishing and woodworking
